Q—Insurance feeUpon reaching a proper age (usually between 18 and 21 years), children are encouraged, but not forced, to "leave the nest" and begin an independent life. After children leave home they often find social relationship and financial support outside the family. Parents do not arrange marriages for their children, nor do children usually ask permission of their parents to get married. Romantic love is most often the basis for marriage in the United States; young s meet their future spouses (配偶) through other friends, at jobs, and in organizations and religious institutions. Although children choose their own spouses, they still hope their parents will approve of their choices.
In many families, parents feel that children should make major life decisions by themselves. A parent may try to influence a child to follow a particular profession but the child is free to choose another career. Sometimes children do precisely the opposite of what their parents wish in order to assert their independence. A son may deliberately decide not to go into his father"s business because of a fear that he will lose his autonomy in his father"s workplace. This independence from parents is not an indication that parents and children do not love each other. Strong love between parents and children is universal and this is no exception in the American family. Coexisting with such love in the American family are cultural values of self—reliance and independence.A company needs staff not only who have the right qualifications and experience, but also who are happy to fit in with the company"s way of doing things. Our managers have to accept the idea that everyone working here is a colleague and that spending time actually in the store with colleagues and customers, rather than in their office, is part of the job. For management post, we organize pre-interview group exercises to measure team-working and leadership skills, sometimes along with activities to assess personal qualities.
In all our interviews we pay attention to body language. And like all employers, we want to take on staff who are at ease with colleagues and customers so it is important to watch the way candidates behave, as well as listen to what they have to say.

The interviewers will pay attention to 5 in all their interviews. In giving a business presentation, many speakers think that if their idea is strong, their audience will get it readily. They feel discouraged when the audience is unable to understand their presentations. That happens a lot especially when technical experts are invited to make a product presentation to a group of users.
What can we do to make a business presentation easier to understand In my view, good presentations have always been and visual. In an effective business presentation, the fewer the points, the better the message gets passed on. You focus on the depth of coverage instead of the width (广度) of coverage. Additionally, you make your ideas visual and relevant, so the message is understood better and remembered longer. Great business presenters relate their ideas and concepts to their audience by using , powerful diagrams instead of relying on text-based slides. In fact, drawing diagrams forces a presenter to make the idea clear even at the preparation stage. It is impossible to draw a diagram when you are not clear about an idea. When your idea is clear, it is easier to transfer it. Most audiences understand a diagram faster and remember it longer. This possibly explains why most of the memorable presentations have been visual in nature.
Why are you advised to give fewer points in your presentation

A.
To pass on the messages better.
B.
To avoid wasting too much time.
C.
To allow audience to take notes.
D.
To leave more time for questions.
