Farming is a job that requires hard work every day. In spring farmers must plant their fields. Many farmers grow crops(农作物)and some grow vegetables. Some also grow different types of fruit. Other farmers keep animals for meat and for other foods such as milk, or eggs.
In summer farmers must care for the plants in their fields: they must water the plants and be careful that no birds or animals hurt them. They must also be careful if it gets too cold at night.
Fall is a very busy time for farmers. They have to cut their crops and vegetables. In fall farmers also have to clear the fields for spring planting.
Every day in spring, summer, and fall farmers must take their cows or sheep to the fields to eat the grass. Every evening they must bring them back. In winter the animals don’t often go to the fields.
Winter is not usually as busy for the farmers, but like any other day of the year, they must feed the animals and get the eggs from the chickens. In the evenings they must milk the cows. They must also send food to the stores or other companies to sell.
