汉川县早期革命武装。
1927年11月，为贯彻党的八七会议精神，发动秋收，成立汉川县，队长程棣华。1928年3月，因参加湖北汉川年关，解体。1930年2月，又成立汉川县游击大队，大队长先后为汤耀庭、王作均、黄一光，政委先后为黄秋松、徐质夫。1931年5月，改编为红三卫第三团(又称汉川独立团)，留下一部分武装再组成汉川游击大队，大队长，活动于汉川、襄北和天门东部一带。
1932年2月，因军进攻而解体。
